Gold Inlays & OnlaysFor restorations in back teeth too large to fill, but too small to warrant placing a crown, these are excellent choices. I've seen gold inlays 50+ years old in the mouth that looked like they were placed 5 years ago. There isn't a finer, longer lasting restoration than a well done gold inlay. They look much like a regular filling, only they're gold instead of silver. If esthetics is a primary concern for you, then you may want to consider a porcelain inlay or onlay. |
